What electric guitar is recommended for playing Death Metal?

I have been playing acoustic guitar for nearly a year and i reckon it is time to buy an electric guitar.
I am into Cannibal Corpse, Deicide, Mudvayne etc.
Price range would probably be not much more than $500.

probably check out some ibanez guitars. i know a few of those types of guys use them, including the mudvayne guitarist. i’m personally not a huge fan of them, but they’re excellent guitars.
certainly gibson epiphone – very slipknot!
Certainly Ibanez or BC Rich. My boyfriend plays both and he also has a Schecter Damien which he tones down to play Danzig type songs. Ibanez makes the best guitars. But look at your fave bands and see what those guys play.

Some guitars you may want to look into are; Dean, BC Rich, ibanez, and schecter.
I personaly like and trust ibanez and schecter because i own them. BC rich and Dean are flashy metal guitars, that have a metal looking body and, well, everything. check these out. REMEMBER TO ALWAYS TRY THE GUITAR YOU LIKE BEFORE YOU BUY IT! peace out man
