i have randall rg75g3, when i turn that amp really loud so i can play with drums, then the sound is shit and its not excellent, what should i do to make the sound better? Should i buy Cab and switch amp in to that?

But yeh, fender are kinda concentrating more on overdrive these days since they’ve pretty much already sussed clean amps…

Yeah abolutely, the video is terrible, that’s why I questioned this amp for metal because he didn’t play any metal stuff so I thought this amp for some ancient style rock playing(whereas I heard Randalls are very sutaible for metal music)
Don’t judge this amp by this sucky vid. I tried this one at a store and if you set it up right it can produce some fucking awesome metal sounds. Certainly go for this amp.
I got the RG200 Plus off of eBay, luckily for me I bought it from an ‘Authorized Randall Dealer.’ It was a excellent buy because instead of like $700-800, I got mine for $444 with shipping and handling. After about 2 weeks of owning it, the amp cut out. The control board or something died and I didn’t get mine back for like 5-6 months.
My comment was removed because I said this amp was junk. Randall keeps wanting me to send out my 2 month ancient RX75RG2 for a second attempt at repairing it. Last attempt took 3 weeks and still didn’t fix it.
it wont sound as excellent cos the speaker is being driven too hard. for better tone invest in a cab
get a higher wattage amp
jeez, the dude could have at least thrown in some palm muting and pinch harmonics.

because they place clean on top of their priority
other companies like randall make sure their overdrive channel has balls

what would u suggest to make this amp cut better i just started playing mine again maybe a eq 12 band.
