if i wanted to play spanish guitar, would a classical guitar with nylon strings be the ideal?

not all nylon of course, just the bottom three.

I believe you’re referring to flamenco music. In that case, yes a classical guitar with your description is ideal. You can also play with all of the 6 strings as nyclon. Both ways work
yes…obviously because using nylon string will enhance the sound of the classical guitar…i highly recommend you to use it….
