Can I carry an electric guitar on Emirates Airline from UK to India?

I’ve one Ibanez electric guitar and I want to take it to India from UK. I’ve been using it here and since genuine branded electric guitars are hard to find in India; I’m plotting to take it with me. I’ve an economy class ticket. My flight is from Birmingham to Bangalore via Dubai..

i would say yes but place it in a safe place and do not use it till you go to india or Dubai pick me as the best answer
I believe that you can, just don’t place it as your carry-on luggage. Make sure it’s in its guitar case and that is gets checked on under your name and marked as FRAGILE. Excellent luck!
